As core refractory materials in the high-temperature industrial sector, magnesia-carbon bricks and corundum bricks are widely used in severe working conditions such as steel converters, electric furnace slag lines and cement kilns. Their bulk density, structural compactness and dimensional accuracy directly determine the operational safety and service life of equipment. With over 40 years of deep cultivation in the forging and pressing equipment field, Zhengzhou Haloong Machinery Co., Ltd. has developed a servo screw press dedicated to refractories based on the pain points of the forming processes of magnesia-carbon bricks and corundum bricks. Boasting core advantages of precise control, high efficiency and energy saving, as well as stable and durable performance, this press has become the preferred equipment for the upgrading and transformation of high-end refractory manufacturers.
Aiming at the uneven forming problems caused by the easy floating of graphite components in magnesia-carbon bricks and the complex particle gradation of corundum bricks, the Zhengzhou Haloong servo screw press is equipped with permanent magnet synchronous servo direct drive technology, achieving zero redundant loss in the transmission chain and a transmission efficiency of over 95%. The equipment is fitted with a 23-bit high-precision encoder and a closed-loop control system, which can accurately preset and dynamically adjust the striking energy, slide stroke and pressing speed. The energy fluctuation is controlled within ±0.5%, and the slide stroke accuracy reaches ±0.05mm. It perfectly adapts to the forming procedure of "light pressing first, then heavy pressing, and multiple pressurization", fully expelling the air between materials and effectively avoiding internal defects such as looseness and microcracks in brick bodies. Verified by practical applications, the bulk density of magnesia-carbon bricks produced with Haloong's equipment stably reaches over 2.98g/cm³, the apparent porosity of corundum bricks is reduced to below 8%, and the qualified rate of products is increased from 90% with traditional equipment to over 98%, fully meeting the stringent compactness requirements of high-end refractories.
The refractory production environment is characterized by heavy dust and harsh working conditions, and the wear resistance and stability of equipment directly affect the continuity of production lines. Zhengzhou Haloong has adopted a fully enclosed hydrostatic lubrication system in a targeted manner, placing core components such as screws, nuts and thrust bearings in an oil-immersed circulating lubrication environment of thin oil, which fundamentally isolates the erosion of dust such as magnesia and corundum powder. Combined with a fully automatic forced lubricating oil station that enables intelligent filtration and high-pressure supply, the service life of key components is more than twice that of traditional equipment. Meanwhile, the equipment adopts a split-type prestressed fuselage structure with high rigidity and excellent anti-unloading capacity, and is matched with an X-shaped guide rail and a cylindrical guide design for the slide block, ensuring uniform stress during the pressing process, effectively avoiding appearance defects such as "tilted heads and caps" in corundum brick forming, greatly reducing unplanned shutdown losses and maintenance costs, and providing a guarantee for 24-hour continuous operation.

Under the tide of green and intelligent transformation, Zhengzhou Haloong's equipment deeply integrates energy-saving characteristics with digital capabilities, providing core support for refractory enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency. The servo motor is only activated during the working cycle, and combined with an energy recovery module, it can store the excess electric energy generated during the pressing process for the next striking. Compared with traditional friction presses, the comprehensive energy saving rate exceeds 55%, and a single device can save tens of thousands of kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. The equipment is equipped with a PLC programmable control system and a PN bus communication module, which can collect key parameters such as striking force, temperature and forming cycle in real time, realize full-process production data traceability and remote monitoring, support seamless connection with automatic feeding, demoulding and palletizing systems, and build semi-automated/automated production lines.
With the accelerated high-end transformation of downstream industries such as steel and cement, the requirements for forming equipment of magnesia-carbon bricks and corundum bricks are continuously upgrading. Zhengzhou Haloong will always take technological innovation as the core, deepen the integrated innovation of servo control and refractory forming processes, optimize equipment performance focusing on the production needs of special-shaped high-end refractories, and continuously iterate intelligent and energy-saving solutions.
